 The Disposables

2020 was the year the world stopped and we found ourselves in a global pandemic (that we continue to navigate). Six months into isolation and stumbling our way through Zoom calls and happy hours, sanitizing every surface, and warily watching those who stepped into our six feet of safe space, I started contemplating what life looked like for those in my community. What was the new normal, where were people finding connectedness and beauty?

I mailed out a handful of disposable cameras to a few folks and caught glimpses of lives, interrupted.
